Thanks to Y member contributions and other donors, in 2021 we helped more than 30,000 people get healthier, served 4,015 children in youth programming, provided $620,000 in financial aid and distributed more than 313,000 pounds of food. Our Y-Haven program served 601 individuals experiencing homelessness and co-occurring substance and mental health disorders. Seventy-five percent became employed or engaged in vocational programs and 65 percent obtained permanent housing.
Membership fees alone do not cover all the costs of serving our community.
We invite you to contribute to your branch's annual campaign. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated. While contributions can target a specific program need or branch, unrestricted gifts allow us the most flexibility in serving the most urgent community needs. You can make a contribution online at https://www.clevelandymca.org/give.
Are you interested in speaking with someone about a planned gift to the YMCA in your estate plans? If so, please contact Megan Defranco, Director of Development, at mdefranco@clevelandymca.org.
