Our Y Stories

During this holiday season, we thank you, our dedicated members. You know that as a nonprofit organization committed to our community, we serve those facing hardships or challenges, whether they are members of the YMCA or not. 

Please spread the word! The Y has excellent part-time, flexible positions in our School Age Child Care, Lifeguard, and Swim Instructor programs available right now.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival after cardiac arrest. You can learn CPR, basic first aid and AED (automated external defibrillator) training at the Y. 

YMCA of Greater Cleveland holiday camps offer kids time to discover what they are passionate about, form relationships, and obtain a sense of belonging during the holidays! Our staff provides support and guidance during our winter camps, providing kids with the tools for success.

Whether you routinely work with a YMCA personal trainer or have never done so, now is the time to act! During December, any Y member can buy four personal training sessions and get one free!

As a YMCA of Greater Cleveland member, you can give the gift of the Y to friends and family members just by telling them to join the Y in December – and it won’t cost you anything. When they join, all they need to do is tell us you referred them, and we'll waive the joiner fee – a savings of up to $100!
