Do you want to lose weight, keep it off and increase your physical activity?

Let’s face it: we’d all do it if change were easy. You’ve spent years developing habits you can’t expect to change overnight. The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program gives you the skills you need and the support you deserve to make lasting healthy lifestyle changes.

The YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long lifestyle change program. It is designed to help you lose weight and become more active - by discovering what works specifically for you.  A certified Lifestyle Coach will work with you and a very small group of others to achieve your goals.

We have a proven record of success—the Centers for Disease Control even recognizes our program for its effectiveness.

Participants must be at least 18 years old, at least a bit overweight, and NOT already diabetic.

A sliding scale determines the program fee. Some insurance plans will cover the cost. No one is turned away due to the inability to pay.
