Our supporters help the YMCA of Greater Cleveland make an extraordinary difference in our community. Last month, each of our 11 branches kicked off the community phase of the YMCA’s Annual Campaign.
Many people know the YMCA as a place where they come to exercise, send their kids to camp, or participate in wellness programs. The Y is so much more. The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is a 501C3 nonprofit charitable organization serving your community. Membership fees alone do not cover all the costs of serving our community, so we need your help.
Your support assists at your Y branch and provides for:
- Youth Development – Before and after school child care, Jr. Cavs basketball, and many more programs
- Drowning Prevention – Swim lessons and safety around water classes
- Health and Wellness –Fitness classes, chronic disease prevention programs, and other healthy living initiatives
- Inclusivity – All are welcome at the Y!
- Active Older Adults – Keeping them active, engaged, and giving them a place to belong
- Mental Wellness – Connecting individuals with resources needed to thrive
At the Y, we provide financial support through annual campaign donations so that no one is turned away due to the inability to pay. We rely on your support to ensure everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
