Mission Moment: Bubble Blast
Once again, the community turned out to support one of our branches! North Royalton Family YMCA hosted its fourth annual Bubble Blast Kathleen DePiero Memorial 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk on September 18. The race is dedicated to the memory of Kathleen DePiero, a former branch board member who is credited with the inception of the event in 2016 and was a tremendous advocate for youth and families in our community.
More than $12,000 was raised for North Royalton branch’s Annual Campaign, granting area youth and families the opportunity to access Y programs and services, such as Swim Lessons, Youth Sports Leagues, and Before and After School Childcare they otherwise could not afford.
