The YMCA of Greater Cleveland announces the launch of new mental wellness services at two of its branches: Hillcrest Family YMCA in Lyndhurst, OH, and Warrensville Heights Family YMCA in Warrensville, OH. These services are part of your YMCA’s ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy spirit, mind and body for all community members.
As our society continues to face challenges related to stress, anxiety, and social isolation, the importance of mental wellness has never been more critical. The YMCA's mental wellness services are designed to provide individuals with the tools and support they need to navigate life’s ups and downs and build resilience, ultimately leading to a more fulfilled and balanced life.

Comprehensive Services for Holistic Support
The YMCA of Greater Cleveland’s mental wellness initiative includes a range of services aimed at meeting the unique needs of the Lyndhurst and Warrensville Heights communities.
These services include:
- Professional Counseling: Licensed counselors will provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on a variety of issues, including stress management, anxiety, depression and addiction.
- Support Groups: Facilitated sessions that offer community members the opportunity to share experiences and gain support from others facing similar challenges.
- Educational Workshops: A series of workshops addressing topics such as grief and loss, teen mental health, mental wellness for seniors, and substance use recovery.
- Community-Building Activities: Programs designed to foster social connectedness, reduce isolation, and enhance overall mental wellness.
